A full terahertz spectrum in less than two minutes! TOPTICA has cut the acquisition times in frequency-domain spectroscopy by more than two orders of magnitude. The cw THz Kit achieves, for the first time, a measurement speed comparable to that of pulsed spectrometers (e.g. 50-1200 GHz, sub-GHz resolution, in 90 sec).

And that’s not all: TOPTICA’s latest-generation cw THz Kit makes use of highly compact telecom components. A photodiode-based terahertz emitter, driven at an optical wavelength of 1.5 µm, provides microwatt output levels. A coherent receiver module yields excellent SNR values up to 80 dB.
